At Rain Underground, we align design with our ideals. Small design choices can lead to the changes we want to see in the world. When we see design choices that solve a problem, reflect our ideals, could be repeated, and do not require $$$ to implement, we call these Everyday Design Revolutions. Concrete Counter-tops Re-use Everyday: second hand concrete counter tops Design: a permeable patio leading to the rain garden Revolution: the mix of materials provides the opportunity to create an affordable permeable patio of the square footage desired that directs water appropriately Design Notes: The patio slopes away from the house toward the rain garden. The patio is set in sand. What is your most recent Everyday Design Revolution? 10/27/2013 03:34:06 pm
